En Route Travel Day 4: Boulder to Hays
Once you leave Denver, there really isn't any place exciting to stop along with I-70 in Western Kansas. Before we left Boulder, we looked on Google Maps to see what towns along with I-70 had the most hotel/motel chains and restaurants... that led us to Hays, Kansas, 340 miles west of Denver.

I saw the "salsa" and wanted to run out the door.

Never realized how lucky I was living in San Diego with easy access to pork tacos from Las Cuatros Milpas, carne asada chips from Rodrigo's, California burritos from Mission Taco, chips and guacamole from Ortega's... the list can go on and on.
