Hello World, This is Me!

Okay, maybe not "Hello World" but more like "Hello three-people-who-said-they'd-read-this-blog."

Anyone who knows me knows that I would be the last person to ever blog. Why? Because (1) I don't even read blogs and (2) I am a terrible writer. But when I knew that we were moving from San Diego to DC, I thought a blog would be a good way to share my adventures with the two or three people who might be interested in hearing about these adventures and seeing the pictures I take along the way.

So, here it is, my first blog post. It comes over a month late, but better late than never, right?
