When we were planning this trip, I was exciting knowing that we would be stopping in Lawrence, home to the University of Kansas. Unfortunately, we were there on Labor Day and many of the cute shops on the tree-lined streets were closed. I did manage to take a few pictures of the area and of the yummy food we had while we were there.
